HIGHLIGHTS OF
THE ABBK CONFERENCE HELD AT UJJAIN
PROVIDED WITH THE COURTESY OF SHRI
NARYANRAO TATUSKAR, PRESIDENT OF ALL
INDIA BHAVSAR KSHATRIYA SAMAJ.
The conference was held on 18th,
19th & 20th Jan. 2008 at Ujjain.
18th January 2008
At 3.30 pm Press Meet was organized,
Sri Kalyandasji Gadale President of
ABBK Mahasabha gave details and
briefed his report including ten
point programme and developments in
Mahasabha including details of
immovable properties in Mahasabha.
Then he detailed the progress and
achievements in the past 5 years at
the Mahasabha.
I highlighted my future plan for the
welfare and development of our
community. As Mahasabha is nearing
its 100 glorious years I formulated
a new concept for Centennial
Celebration as “Bhavsar Navnirman
Abhiyan”, were-in utmost priority
was Centennial Education Trust. I
opined to have 1 Engineering College
& 1 MBA College in the states of
Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra
Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh.
I have been conducting training
programme workshops for the Bhavsars.
Nearly more than 100 workshops have
been organised and I have trained
more than 10000 Bhavsars who include
Students & Businessman. I am aiming
to reach atleast 100000 Bhavsars and
train them.
In Bhavsar community we have people
mainly engaged in profession like
Tailoring, small businesses,
readymade garment shop etc., however
the impact of globalization is very
severe. Giants like Wal Mart & other
big shopping mall’s are expanding
their horizons across the nook and
corner of India. Under such
circumstances it will be very
difficult and hard to sustain the
effect of globalization on our
Bhavsar’s engaged in aforesaid
profession and business. The
traditional businesses of Potters,
Cobblers, Blacksmith & Carpenters
who are hardly managing their lives
are on the verge of being wiped out
as new technological developments
has overtaken them. To benefit the
professionals I have demanded 300
Crores package from the central
government and offer Artisans status
to the people of such profession for
their overall development and
survival.
1.00 – 6.30 pm:
Mahila Parishad Meeting was held.
Dr. Asha Nikte briefed the working
report of State Mahila Parishad’s
through a beautiful power point
presentation. Later, President Asha
Bhavsar briefed the achievements and
the work done during the past 5

Jayprakash Amberkar was appointed as
the General Secretary. Later I
solemnized the oath to all the State
Presidents.
After oath taking ceremony I briefed
about future plans of the Mahasabha.
I announced the creation of the
trust - Bhavsar Navnirman Abhiyan.
To expand the horizons of this trust
with the main objective of education
I announced a donation of Rs.1.00
Lac and further appealed to the
fellow Bhavsars to contribute for
the cause of education. Cited number
of examples of joy of giving and
highlighted the fact that our
Children’s competition is not with
Indian/local students but with
American/Japanese & European
students, so we have to train and
educate them and that it was the
only means for the development of
Bhavsar Samaj in the present
scenario. During his 40 minutes
inspiring and motivating speech the
gathering responded whole heartedly
for the cause of education and
received contribution commitment to
the tune of Rs.42.00 Lacs. Few names

and were happy to address the
gathering. Madhya Pradesh Revenue
Minister has promised to allot land
at 50% of subsidized cost for
setting up Engineering College. The
overall arrangement of the food was
excellent and people were educated
about the properties of Mahasabha.
Thus, the entire conference had a
ceremonious grandeur. With Hingula
